A visionary leader and strategic innovator, F. Javier Bernal brings over a decade of international experience across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Asia. His background spans corporate strategy, hospitality, and technology, with a recent and impactful focus on transforming education through gaming and esports. Javier is the Founder & CEO of Gosu Academy, a global platform redefining how youth engage with education, talent development, and the digital economy.
He began his career at Monitor Deloitte, advising public and private sector clients on long-term strategy, KPI development, and performance transformation. He later served as Director of Strategy at Radisson Hotel Group for Asia & Pacific region, based in Singapore and Thailand, where he led initiatives that tripled the company’s hotel portfolio in APAC and delivered record-breaking financial performance.
Building on this strategic foundation, Javier launched Gosu Academy, which has rapidly become a recognized leader in gaming and esports education. The Academy partners with public sector, universities, federations, and private organizations across MENA, North America, Europe and Central Asia to deliver programs in game development & Design, esports, and AI, among others.
Under Javier’s leadership, Gosu Academy has trained thousands of students and created opportunities that bridge the gap between gaming, education, and employability. His programs champion inclusivity, youth empowerment, and national capacity building—especially in high-growth, innovation-driven economies.
He is passionate about the intersection of learning, technology, and social impact, and is committed to building systems that foster agility, innovation, and long-term value in emerging markets.
